As a corporate lawyer, I helped clients turn their business goals into reality. That meant coordinating all of the many moving pieces (contracts, signatures, wires) to get a deal “closed”, but where I really brought value was being proactive in offering solutions to issues my clients had not even noticed, being responsive to their questions and requests so they knew I was paying attention and in their corner, and providing my expertise on the business and legal trends I was seeing in the market so they felt confident they were making the right decisions.
I bring these skills and experience to travel planning. I am an expert in doing in-depth research on the best options to meet your preferences, translating industry jargon into practical suggestions you can actually use, and coordinating the on-the-ground suppliers involved in executing the perfect experience. I’ve also traveled a lot lot lot—I’ve wandered, hiked, safari-ed, snorkeled, glamped, and/or expedition cruised all seven continents, so am personally familiar with many destinations. And anywhere I haven’t been personally, I have an extensive network of expert colleagues and vetted local partners as resources.
I also understand how busy your life already is, juggling work, family, and limited time off, because I’ve done the same, fitting my own extensive travels into a corporate career. More About Me
Wildlife enthusiast, no food I won't try at least once, always planning my next trip
Growing up, my parents were big roadtrippers. It was mostly because we didn't have the money to fly back then, but that didn't stop us from seeing the country—we'd pile into the hatchback and drive hours across the country to observe the geological wonders of Yellowstone or see the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia.
I’ve inherited their restlessness and curiosity, albeit on a more international scale (flying required), spending a semester abroad in Australia in college, a year living in Cape Town after college, and for over a decade thereafter, saving up my annual bonuses and PTO to snorkel with sea lions in the Galapagos, climb Mayan ruins in Belize, and find my zen in Bali. I've walked 30k+ steps a day eating my way through Italy, Japan, China, and Taiwan, and <100 steps from my hotel room to the beach in Turks & Caicos to do nothing but read all day. I've set foot on all seven continents, freezing my face off watching polar bears up in the icy tundra of Churchill, Canada (worth it!), and again all the way at the opposite end of the earth practicing my waddling alongside penguins in Antarctica. I've been on safari in South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, and Tanzania, snorkeled with whale sharks off the coast of Mozambique, hiked among lemurs in Madagascar, futilely attempted to stay dry from the pounding waters of Victoria Falls in Zambia, run down red sand dunes in Namibia, and trekked up mountains in Rwanda in search of gorillas.
